Motorists traveling on northbound S.R. 417 should use Rinehart Road to S.R. 46 to access International Parkway. To access westbound I-4, traffic should use Rinehart Road to County Road (C.R.) 46A. The ramp to eastbound I-4 will remain open.

Traffic will be shifted to new travel lanes to the south to allow construction of the elevated parkway to move forward.

Various overnight single lane and shoulder closures are planned for roadway work Sunday, June 7, through Tuesday, June 16, on Interstate-4 (I-4) and State Road (S.R.) 417 as part of the Wekiva Parkway (S.R. 429) project. Lane closures could begin as early as 7:30 p.m. and last until 7:30 a.m.

The lane closures will take place on I-4 between S.R. 46 and C.R. 46A and on S.R. 417 between Rinehart Road and I-4.

Traffic on westbound S.R. 46 will turn right onto old County Road (C.R.) 46A/Sleepy Bear Lane, turn left onto the new C.R. 46A, and then turn right onto S.R. 46/Sorrento Avenue.

Traffic on eastbound S.R. 46 will turn left onto new C.R. 46A, turn right onto old C.R. 46A/Droty Spring Lane, and then turn left onto S.R. 46.

Local access to properties and emergency vehicle traffic will be maintained.

Both directions of S.R. 46 will be flagged through a single lane just east of County Road (C.R.) 46A. Drivers should expect delays and seek alternate routes or avoid the area if possible.
