Nightly road closures are planned on westbound State Road (S.R.) 46 from Glade View Drive to Yankee Lake Road for two weeks as part of the Wekiva Parkway (S.R. 429) project. Westbound S.R. 46 traffic will be detoured tonight, April 18 through Monday night, May 2, from 9 p.m. – 6 a.m. for roundabout work.

Motorists should use Orange Boulevard to Markham Road to Longwood-Markham Road as an alternate Route. Local property access will be maintained.

Additionally, tonight, April 18 and Tuesday night, April 19, from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., westbound S.R. 46 and the roundabout will also be closed at Longwood-Markham Road for bridge work. Flaggers will intermittently stop eastbound S.R. 46 traffic at Osprey Hammock Trail to allow westbound travelers to use those lanes to bypass the closure. Law enforcement officers also will be on site to assist with the closure.

Remember to drive safely in the work zone and to follow posted signage.
