The Central Florida Expressway Authority on Dec. 18, 2015 ranked KCCS as the top firm to oversee construction of Wekiva Parkway Section 2A. The CFX Board at their January meeting will decide whether to approve the start of negotiations with the firm. Section 2A extends east from the Systems Interchange from Plymouth Sorrento Road to County Road 435 (Mount Plymouth Road), paralleling Haas Road in Orange County.
