APOPKA, FL – The Central Florida Expressway Authority would like to make community members aware that crews building Wekiva Parkway Section 1A are scheduled to soon begin driving bridge pile. Crews are scheduled the week of Monday, August 10, to begin driving pile at the State Road 429 Connector Road. Pile driving also is expected to begin the following week, beginning Monday, August 17, in the area of Southfork Drive.

This activity will occur only during daytime hours, and is expected to take a number of weeks. Wet weather could delay or prolong this activity.
