The Central Florida Expressway Authority on April 9, 2015 selected Prince Contracting to build Wekiva Parkway Section 1A (429-202) from where State Road 429 ends at US 441 and Plymouth Sorrento Road, to just north of Ponkan Road. CFX is scheduled to begin work on the $56 million project by early June 2015.   Work should finish in 2017.
