Section 8: Ramp Closures Planned at I-4/S.R. 417

Nightly ramp closures are scheduled Sunday, Aug. 29, through Thursday, Sept. 2, at State Road (S.R.) 417 and Interstate 4 (I-4). The ramps from westbound I-4 to southbound S.R. 417, International Parkway to southbound S.R. 417, and northbound S.R. 417 to westbound I-4 and International Parkway will be closed for bridge work. The ramp system from eastbound I-4 to southbound S.R. 417 and S.R. 46 will also be closed.

 

Please use the following detours:

  • Westbound I-4 to southbound S.R. 417 (8 p.m. – 6 a.m.): Use I-4 to County Road (C.R.) 46A to Rinehart Road
  • International Parkway to southbound S.R. 417 (8 p.m. – 6 a.m.): Use S.R. 46 or C.R. 46A to Rinehart Road
  • Northbound S.R. 417 to International Parkway/westbound I-4 (8:30 p.m. – 6 a.m.): Use Rinehart Road to S.R. 46
  • Eastbound I-4 to southbound S.R. 417 and S.R. 46 (8 p.m. – 6 a.m.): Use Rinehart Road

 

 

Nightly roadway detours are planned Sunday, Aug. 29, through Monday, Aug. 30, on International Parkway between S.R. 417 and Wilson Road. In addition, nightly roadway detours are planned Monday, Aug. 30, through Thursday, Sept. 2, on Towne Center Boulevard between Rinehart Road and WP Ball Boulevard.

  • International Parkway between S.R. 417 and Wilson Road (7 p.m. – 6 a.m): Use Wilson Road or S.R. 417
  • Towne Center Boulevard between S.R. 417 and WP Ball Boulevard (7 p.m. – 6 a.m): Use WP Ball Boulevard or Rinehart Road

 

Nightly lane closures are scheduled from Sunday, Aug. 29, through Thursday, Sept. 2, on I-4 from S.R. 46 to C.R. 46A. Expect eastbound single lane closures 8:30 p.m. – 6 a.m. and double lane closures 10:30 p.m. – 6 a.m. Expect westbound single lane closures 7:30 p.m. – 6 a.m. and double lane closures 9:30 p.m. – 5:30 a.m.

 

Access to nearby residences and businesses will be maintained.
