Utility Crossing Of Bella Foresta Place Scheduled

November, 2018

SANFORD, FL Crews are scheduled Wednesday, Nov. 28, to begin placing utility lines across Bella Foresta Place at State Road (S.R.) 46 as part of building the Wekiva Parkway (S.R. 429). The utility work will close half of the entrance, with traffic in both directions passing through the opposite side. This work is scheduled to take several days to complete.

Flaggers will be on hand to direct traffic. Please be advised weather or other unforeseen circumstances could delay or prolong work. Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction area for their safety and that of the work crews.

The work is part of building Wekiva Parkway Section 7A, which began April 1, 2018, and is scheduled to finish in 2022. This 3.5-mile project includes building non-tolled, parallel service roads for local travel, slip ramps to enter and exit the Wekiva Parkway, and several bridges over side streets. Roundabouts are planned as safety enhancements at the intersections under the parkway.
