Crews working for the Central Florida Expressway Authority on Monday, May 2, 2016 are scheduled to begin work on Wekiva Parkway Section 2C. This section extends north from the systems interchange and the Orange-Lake County line to State Road 46 just east of Round Lake Road. GLF Construction will build the $49.48 million project under the supervision of Jacobs Engineering, the construction, engineering and inspection firm for CFX. The project is scheduled to be open to traffic in January of 2018.
